Elizabeth GAROUSTE (Born in 1949) & Mattia BONETTI (Born in 1953)

Extremely rare set of six chairs from theses two talented designers.

Edition: "En attendant les Barbares". France 1992

The bases are in hammered, brown wrought iron. Ironwork made by Pierre Basse (Ferronnier), former Diego Giacometti's Ironworker.

The chairs have been re-upholstered in orange leather with a brown piping.

Each chair is stamped "BG".

GAROUSTE and BONETTI no longer work together, making this set even more rare and valuable.

Measurements: 34" H x 15 3/4" W x 21" Depth

Provenance: Private Collection, Paris, France. Purchased in 1992 directly at the Gallery "En attendant les barbares" in Paris.
