Exceptional 23 carats gilt wood oblong table, France Circa 1950.
An authentic 23cts gold leaf on wood covers this table.
The legs are from the 1950's, the wooden top has been redone posteriorly.
The authentic Art Nouveau mirror comes from the Parisian " Brasserie " restaurant: LE TERMINUS NORD where it was displayed as part of the decoration in the 1900's.
We can definitely recognize the amazing work and motif typical of the Art Nouveau period in France in 1890/1910.
The mirror has been adapted to be used on this table.
The design of the leg is similar to the elephant trunk model used in the 1950's / 1960's by Jansen Decoration, illustrated in the Jansen Furniture book by James Archer Abbott, P.299.
