This exceptional and exceedingly rare pair of chairs was created by Maxime Old as part of a prestigious commission for the renowned Marhaba Hotel in Morocco. Designed in France in 1953, the chairs perfectly embody the designer's signature aesthetic, combining architectural purity, refined proportions, and superb craftsmanship into a timeless work of furniture.

The design reflects the understated elegance for which Maxime Old became internationally celebrated. Condition: Excellent condition, fully repaired, refinished and reupholstered, bronze hardware in original condition with some degrees of patina and oxidation. Stitched straps have been redone as original.
