This exceptional Brutalist bronze coffee table by Australian-born, UK-based artist and designer Charles Trevelyan (b. 1974) exemplifies the tension between organic growth, functional design and sculptural permanence that characterizes his distinctive body of work.

Cast in bronze and finished with a richly patinated surface, this Charles TREVELYAN table features an irregular free-form top whose highly textured character recalls natural erosion, geological formations and weathered mineral surfaces. Rather than following conventional geometric forms, Trevelyan allows the material and sculptural composition to define the silhouette, giving the work an extraordinary sense of movement and individuality.

The branching, asymmetric legs extend beneath the top like twisted roots, coral formations or naturally occurring structures.
