SABINO Marius-Ernest
SABINO Marius-Ernest
Marius-Ernest SABINO ( 1878 - 1961 )
Extremely rare and as far as we know one-of-a-kind Art Deco Sconce by Marius-Ernest SABINO from a 1930s restaurant in Paris.
From a set of 9 sconces we got, this one is sold separately, the set of eight has been sold.
Comprised of glass with a brass base, there are no fixations around the base. The sconce is turned to lock in place.
The glass shows a diamond-point engraved Sabino Paris signature.
The lamp includes three 15w light bulbs, which total 45 watts.
The glass has a majestic texture, evoking the feeling of droplets of water, frozen in time.
It includes one removable frosted glass diffuser between the bulbs and glass to get this warm color.
It has been rewired for the U.S. with brass hardware and may be used as either wall sconces or ceiling lamps.
The base has been fully redone, polished and refinished.
